Cookies

1. The service does not automatically collect any information, except for information contained in cookies.

2. Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored in the User's end device and are intended for using the Service's websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the end device and a unique number. Cookies do not collect any information stored on the User's end device.

3. The entity placing cookies on the User's end device and accessing them is the Service operator Harvium.

4. Cookies are used for:

  • adapting the content of the Service's websites to the User's preferences and optimizing the use of websites; in particular, these files allow to recognize the User's device and properly display the website, tailored to his individual needs;
  • creating statistics that help to understand how Service Users use websites, which allows improving their structure and content;
  • maintaining the User's session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter their login and password on each subpage of the Service.

5. Within the Service, two basic types of cookies are used: 'session' and 'persistent'. Session cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User's end device until logging out, leaving the website or turning off the software (web browser). 'Persistent' cookies are stored on the User's end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.

6. Within the Service, the following types of cookies are used:

  • 'essential' cookies, enabling the use of services available within the Service, e.g. authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication within the Service;
  • cookies used to ensure security, e.g. used to detect fraud in the field of authentication within the Service;
  • 'performance' cookies, enabling the collection of information on how the Service's websites are used;
  • 'functional' cookies, enabling 'remembering' the settings selected by the User and personalizing the User's interface, e.g. in terms of the selected language or region from which the User comes, font size, website appearance, etc.

7. In many cases, software used for browsing websites (web browser) allows by default to store cookies on the User's end device.

8. The Service operator informs that restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the Service's websites.
9. Cookies placed on the Service User's end device may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Service operator.
10. Cookies set and used by Harvium are created in the domain: hoodcom.pl and can be deleted using the cookie deletion function provided by the User's web browser.
11. Harvium collects information about the use of services by users and their IP addresses based on the analysis of access logs. This information is used for technical purposes related to the administration of the portal servers, as well as for statistical purposes, in the demographic analysis of users.
